Implicating the three Titanfall universe games to a general franchise tag.

I don't agree with implicating Apex Legends to Titanfall. Unless I'm unaware of some lore, I don't think the franchises are strongly connected enough to warrant it, except being set in the same universe, and I don't think there are characters directly shared between the two games. +1 for the first 2 implications, though.

Gonna be honest, I had no idea they were. Do they share any character or weapon etc at all?

I know the Wingman, a weapon from Apex Legends, was brought over from the Titanfall series where it was originally called the B3 Wingman, and some original characters from Apex have tie-ins with the Titanfall universe, but I don't believe there are the same exact characters between the games. The official Titanfall wiki has no mention of any of the Apex Legends characters from what I see. The games exist in the same universe, but don't have the same characters as far as I know.

Apex Legends takes place in the same universe for certain as can be seen from multiple references (including weapons, or even the name of the game directly referencing a Pilot unit from Titanfall, the Apex Predators.) In fact the Apex Games are implied to be created by one of the antagonists in Titanfall 2.
To me it fits within the series because it takes place in the same universe and in the same storyline.

I see...Guess they're more connected than I thought.

Yep, that antagonist from TF2 is in one of the PVs for the game iirc, and despite being aesthetically different its treated as a part of the same series by Respawn.

I like the first two implications. The Apex one however, even if technically correct, as much as I'd like to see it being implicated, is not immediately obvious to warrant the implication.

Apex Legends may take place in the same universe, but implicating it to titanfall is almost completely tangential. I haven't played AP, but I've played plenty of TF2, and the focus of Titanfall are said Titans and their Pilots, of which there are none in Apex Legends.

I'll do the Titanfall (series) implications. As far as Apex Legends, this is like saying that Portal and Half-Life or Nier and Drag-on Dragoon (Drakengard) should have umbrella tags because technically they're part of the same universe. This is not something most people would expect and it's not very useful for searching purposes.
