Looks like the strange yet lulz wonders of mis-identification because binoculars cant say much about a ship's silhouette.
>Hood blasting Prinz Eugen because she looked like Bismarck
>Bismarck confirming(?) Prince of Wales or is it KGV
>Scharnhorst mistaking Renown for a slow ass battlecruiser running at 29 kts (I think this was during that brief skirmish where Renown blasted the shit out of the Twins)
>HMS Sheffield blasting German destroyers because they thought she was a U-boat
>Rodney falling for Gneisenau's "LIGHT CRUISER EMERALD" signal blinking
Though yeah, I think it was hard trying to make head or tail of a silhouette by peering through the spotting binoculars
Of course, we also have Ikazuchi and Inazuma who got mistaken for each other so many times that even historians had trouble telling the difference. So... of course... why not have KanColle nerds join in with the mis-identification fun?
