And here's that discussion Fencedude mentioned, forum #58038.

No it was in the pointless pools thread.
And I apparently just wasted my time with forum #58038 since not a single janitor involved in approving posts from that pool before it was flagged cared enough to voice any disagreement with the event.

That tells you something, doesn't it?

My general opinion of those posts, despite having approved a couple previously, was a resounding "meh".

Well, yet another concern solved by rampant apathy.

And I read your opinion already (granted my above phrasing was wrong). I was thinking of the janitors who missed that discussion and might have objected then. Even though all of them went "meh" as well in the end it seems.

The entire pool did go through the mod-queue again before Hazuki nuked it, so the collective "meh" was passive disapproval by (pretty much all) of the active mods. I don't necessarily agree with the method of blanket deleting things, especially so when other mods re-approve them. In this case though, I don't think highly enough of the deleted material to really fight for it.

Well the pics are on pixiv and perhaps Gelbooru; it wouldn't be the first time someone used those two exclusively after seeing stuff they feel. (Like the Rifyu incident)

Me? I don't think it's worth going back and forth with the high council over. It's better taking a loss than having 90%+ of an artist's work nuked due to a pissed off mod.

I'd rather spend energy appealing overall better and not so commonly seen stuff.
