Hello;

I hope this doesn't annoy the staff in any way.

i want to share my restyle of danbooru, more restful to the eyes, changing client-side CSS

---Only for Firefox, that I know---

Enable "Show Hidden Files and Folders" first and place this userContent.css inside the chrome folder, to the following path:

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[profilename]\chrome\

Windows Vista or 7: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[profilename]\chrome\

restart Firefox ;)

Can also be used with stylish add-on.

------edit------

some fix about quote/spoiler, records page, and other minor things.

There's nothing wrong with trying to make the site's background easier to the eyes, so don't worry about annoying the staff.

I don't really see the point though. Why not simply change the background color from your browser's preferences? That way you can still have the different background colors when changing modes while keeping black (or any other color you want) as the default.

change only background color isn't well, i have changed also tag colors, fonts, notice bar, nav bar, border of parent-child, text colors, etc

if i change only the background color, some elements remain with the original color ;)

Similar to what I did. Made text a light gray, background black, and increased the width of forum posts.

Only problem I have is that I don't get the background color changes when I select different options from the drop-down like Apply Tag Script, so every time I finish using a script, I forget Apply is still on and I end up applying it to the next image I click. :sd: Yay for the revert option. Not a big deal though... I love my black backgrounds. There are very few sites I go to on a regular basis that I will allow to keep white backgrounds, which kill my eyes.
