Dark Elf is a term used to describe any and all elf variants that are classified as such by context or by Skin type being non-white, and can be used for anything in question pertaining to this
Drow is a term applied to a subrace of elves found in numerous fantasy settings that are dark elves, but lean to the extremes of the variants this has to offer, often having only the darkest shades of skin colours like Incredibly Dark skin of any type of shade in question.
It's the same thing as using the term Dunmer to describe Dark elves in the Elder scrolls setting, it's their race, it isn't an Alias of dark elf, it's a separate thing entirely,
So why is it that any and all Elves that lean towards looking like pirotess from record of Lodoss war do I find that almost any and all Elves in question begin dumped into this single tag, when there exists racial tags for races such as the Elvaan? Dark_elf should still be a tag, but It's a general tag used for all of these variants.
There's also the fact that there doesn't seem to be a divide on the usage of Pointy_ears for any and all subjects that have this tag, including elves, because there is evidence which directly suggests there is a divide on what these ear styles are, which is the lop-ear pointed ears the east often draws on Elves, and the western style of drawing pointy elf ears also I would like to see addressed.
