I honestly think that this jungle of Fate character names is so confusing. I think I almost always tg that with character request since I've mostly no idea which version of for example Saber we're seeing :/.

For the most part I can recognise Saber versions fairly alright myself, but beyond her... Well, I'd probably ask some of my more-knowledgeable friends or character_request it, indeed.

Let's see the precedent.
Lancer Alter implies Saber Alter (which implies Saber)
Lancer implies Saber
Jeanne Alter Lily implies Jeanne Alter (which implies Jeanne)
The case with Lancer Alter was mostly because Lancer Alter was released before Lancer version, but it is what it is.

I'd go with yes. Such that
MHXA implies Saber Alter (which implies Saber)
MHX implies Saber
And not have MHXA imply MHX.

That said, personally I'd reorganize it so all seiba variants imply saber and nothing else.
