Yes, of course it would. Every post beyond the first 12 are from 9 years ago (since it's a recently created tag), but the database doesn't know that so it searches from the most recent post onwards which takes a lot of extra time and makes it timeout for Member-level users such as yourself.
There are two potential solutions for this issue:
1. Range-bound your request (see Help:Cheatsheet)
2. Tag garden the Idolmaster tag so that there is more an even spread of these posts over time
