I just tried and it worked for me. You sure you were submitting the edit correctly? Because there's no way to block someone from editing a tag list unless they're banned, which you aren't obviously.

Since they said they clicked Edit and nothing happened, not that they couldn't save the edits, my guess is because of Google Translate, because this happened to me. If you have GT translate the page, the edit button won't work unless you revert it to the page's original language. If the Japanese, or any language other than your preferred, commentary is long enough, and you have chrome set to always translate the language it's in, Chrome will recognize the entire page as being in that language and translate it, which breaks the edit button for some reason.
