Addendum - nazi salute is the universally known term, but I'm not sure if we want to use that name when there's many posts that have nothing to do with nazis (post #4184512 as an example). Either is fine though, as long as we get a better name than the current.
I'd support aliasing those to straight-arm_salute instead as it is broader in meaning and doesn't potentially carry specifics on how the salute is done (such as angle of the salute). Furthermore I'd rather not associate a specific origin with the salute, as even wikipedia states "However, no Roman text gives this description, and the Roman works of art that display salutational gestures bear little resemblance to the modern Roman salute."
edit: There is more than just the roman salute and fascist derivative. For example the Bellamy salute, which has the palm upwards unlike the roman or nazi salutes which has the palm downward. This is why I'd rather keep a broader "straight-arm" salute for any derivative of the basic arm-out salutes.
