I'm looking through both tags and not seeing much of a difference between them. It would warrant an alias instead unless someone can come up with something compelling.

There's also cheek_rest but often it's just chin rest with the hand slightly shifted above usual. There's some valid posts like post #3572517 though.
Yeah, I'd rather do an alias. This is probably one of those cases where we start out with chin rest, someone realizes it's not broad enough and creates head rest, so now we have two tags for the same thing. I have little interest in going through these tags and trying to figure out whether it's a chin rest and a head rest, and I doubt anyone else does either.
