Tag Implication: uwabaki -> shoes

Implicating uwabaki -> shoes.
Implicating loafers -> shoes.

Reason: They're shoes.

I would like to add high_heels -> shoes to that list.

Why do we even need a shoes tag? Wouldn't that just be everything not under barefoot?

The only ways I could see it being useful is if a picture had shoes but no owner, or the shoes were the central focus of the image.

Anyway, if we're going to do this boots -> shoes needs to happen as well.

No, not really. They could be wearing just socks, or the feet could not be visible at all.

Point taken. Just seemed like overkill to me.

Yup, leave them separate.

Bit of a problem with that: now all high-heeled boots are tagged shoes, which goes against what you were saying about keeping shoes and boots separate.

This may be too late, but I would think that most would assume that the chracter(s) in the image either is wearing shoes or not (except for the one shoe cases and/or dangling).

I'm in favor in having pics with shoes differentiated from bare feet, but I think it would probably be easier to tag all barefeet pics as barefeet than all shoe pics as shoes, regardless of the shoe.

It still a useful tag for when shoes are depicted as separate objects, or somehow in the focus. Not to mention that if we're tagging particular kinds of shoes, such as mary_janes, we can as well implicate, if only to assist people willing to tag more instances of said specific shoe types and want to skip all the images already tagged.

Which doesn't mean it's not useful to tag barefoot where appropriate. But I already do that for all new uploads, and have done for a sizeable portion of the existing posts where the tag was missing, so you can consider this particular tag covered.
