remove implication alternate_hair_length -> alternate_hairstyle
Going by a simple search of alternate_hair_length in the Touhou copyright, there are many instances of the girls who officially have short, straight hair having much longer hair, but in the same style, as an alternative length. Okay, some DO have alternate hairstyles, but most retain original styles.
Likewise, any girl who originally has long hair and is then depicted with short hair, shouldn't qualify as an alternate style if, for example, they have long_Hair + two_side_up, then short_hair + two_side_up, as it's the exact same style except shorter. The same goes for instances of very_long_hair + twintails, -> medium_hair + twintails.
Okay, but what about bob_cut? It's a distinct hairstyle, but having above-shoulder-length hair doesn't automatically qualify for that hairstyle, as I've seen a number of posts tagged with that in alternate_hair_length + short_hair. Those should be cleaned up to precisely follow the wiki. Konpaku Youmu is someone who officially dons a bob cut, so really any alternative hair length changes her hairstyle. I also know bangs play a role in hairstyle, so length / style of bangs need to be kept in mind.
The alternate_hairstyle tag should be manually added to any posts depicting a hairstyle different from the character's official hairdo, regardless of whether the hair is of a different length. I understand that someone will have to go through all the posts to manually remove alternate_hairstyle from non-applicable posts, but I think it's necessary going forward to require having taggers add it themselves to qualifying posts going forward, especially solo pictures.

post #4044153 - Komachi has short-to-medium hair with short two side up, and in this case long two side up, but same hairstyle technically.
post #3376505 - Flandre has short-to-medium straight (sometimes wavy) hair with one side up that is usually longer than the rest of her hair, and in this case, all of her hair is longer, but still one_side_up. Not an alternative hairstyle. Remilia Scarlet is a similar example, but who keeps her short hair down, and longer hair will still be in the same style. post #4211458
A notable twintails example is difficult for me to find, but I believe the point is still there. Alternative hair length =/= alternate hairstyle.
