Help: Creating a character tag

Been trying to figure this out for a while, and doing a search across the forum is starting to make my eyes cross.

The tag is elena_(nekiis) she is an OC of nekiis

Add "char:" or "character:" before the tag. You can learn more in howto:tag.

Thank you. Its probably because I'm tired but I was sure I looked through the forum and wiki and couldn't find it.

I can't see it at all still

It's near the bottom of the howto:tag page in the "Tag types" section under the "Creating a New Tag" heading.
