Full official names usually take precedence over problems with length. If you alias the abbreviated version, that wouldn't be a problem anyway. Though in my opinion, the current abbreviations are too ambiguous. One alternative is to add the band name as a qualifier (e.g hatsune_miku_(wonderlands_x_showtime)), though I'm not familiar enough with ProSEKA to know if she's actually been referred to as Hatsune within each SEKAI.

How are those aliases ambiguous? What other characters have similar names...?
I got inspiration for the layout from Yuki Miku, Sakura Miku, and even Cinnamiku.

I know you're more familiar with these three but as I previously explained, those are actually the exceptions of the character variant system, look at blue poison (shoal beat) (arknights), Abigail williams (swimsuit foreigner) (fate) or even hatsune miku (vocaloid4) herself.

But those wouldn't make sense, as these aren't technically official VOCALOID box-art designs. Those tags are used for alternative outfits, when these characters are.. Hatsune Miku but also not Hatsune Miku but still Hatsune Miku. It's confusing...
We could add those as aliases? But the ones I listed above just make more since. Although I will agree that I'm unsure if we should keep the abbreviated versions or the full-name versions.

I would personally say they are ambiguous by the fact that they are acronyms. People that know the game may possibly know what they stand for, but not everyone would be able to understand at a glance that wxs = wonderland x showtime or VBS is Vivid Bad squad. Also, i'm leaning more towards the qualifier and adding the abreviations/acronyms as alias.

It's always best to use full official names for clarity as opposed to acronyms. If you think it's too long to search, you can always use the abbreviation search function (e.g. /vbsm for vivid_bad_squad_miku)

That's true! For now I'm going to wait for the Miku ones to be approved first, so if the mods or admins have any criticisms we can change those up real quick. When those ones are finally approved, we can make separate ones for the others... if that makes any sense.
