I think these are redundant, so the one should be aliased to the other.
Many of the posts under bulging_eyes are of the salmon pet in Splatoon 3, but post #4727398 is another case of a "natural" bulge that isn't cartoonishly so like with eye_pop.
I feel like eye_pop should be when the eyes are physically out of the sockets, and bulging_eyes should be when the eyes are stretching out of the sockets.
At minimum eye pop should imply bulging eyes if we want to keep both of them. It's more or less the same concept, only exaggerated. TBH I can barely remember which one is for which myself without reading the wiki every time.
