Tag Discussion: :>

Judging from both the posts and the wiki entry, it seems the general use for this tag hasn't been decided. Almost all the earlier images tagged with it show the funny upper lip gesture (post #429995), but recently people have started using it to define the opposite of :< (post #435317). Any alternative suggestions for either expression so we can clean :> up and possibly make a new tag?

It looks like the action comes from biting/sucking in the bottom lip, from being nervous or silent. I don't think it fits for when a character is simply smiling.

For the billionth time:

Emoticon tags describe faces that look like emoticons. Tag a picture with :> if a character is making a face that looks like ":>". How difficult is this?

If you want to tag particular actions or feelings, make actual tags with words, and leave the emoticon tags highly literal as they should be.

what (I think) takapo is stating, is that some pics are tagged with this emote, that don't look like the emote. The character is just smiling and they have a thin upper lip.
