Takt op. Destiny is the anime title, the series is simply takt op.

The series is stylized "takt: op." though? Also op. is short for "opus" so you'd want to keep that period.

Eh, we don't stylize the idolmaster as the idolm@ster.

I think the second BUR is the best option (period but no colon); there doesn't seem to be enough support for the Wikipedia article title omitting the period, whereas all the JP official sites and EN aggregates have it as "Takt Op.".

The question is, do we want to distinguish Destiny from Symphony (an upcoming mobile game)?

Of course, destiny is only a branch of the series, not the main title. It's like making fate stay night the umbrella tag for every fate post.

You said it yourself, it's a branch of the series. That invalidates these BURs, unless there's no difference between the anime and the game.

What I meant was that Destiny is a brach of the series, so we need to rename it to Takt op. so the Symphony posts can stay. The current takt op. destiny tag we have is used for all Takt posts (and its wiki proves it), so I was trying to change it to the general term, that's why it's a rename not an alias. Wether we need sub tags can be discussed later.

Ok, that makes more sense. Then what really should happen here is that the parent tag is created so that the child tag can be cleaned up.

Is that implication necessary? Not sure how everyone feels about mix-media tags that are essentially tagged by character origins. Considering the current post count, it would mostly be separating the two Destinys, not to mention them having a collab now.
