penlight and glowstick

There's not enough distinction in art for us to keep them separate, penlight can be kept for ones that are recognizable.

"Penlight" is also a term (more commonly in my experience) for a small pen-sized flashlight rather than an electric glowstick (see the picture and description on Wikipedia). I think maybe penlight might need disambiguated and deprecated rather than rolled into glowstick.

What's being called a "penlight" here is much closer in practice to a traffic baton, "marshaling wand", or "light wand" as used by construction workers, police, or airport signalers.

Going by one source, "penlight" is what the Japanese call it. Unfortunately in English (both US and UK) a penlight is a small pen-sized flashlight. Such as post #1932817.

Penlight on danbooru is 100% the japanese term. I guess we can try this. Do we have any examples of the other types of penlights?

I've created penlight (flashlight) for the English meaning of the word. Not sure if it warrants it's own implication to flashlight or not.
