Currently, three different methods are used to disambiguify tags when a character shares their name with the copyright's name - we qualify the copyright (shantae and shantae_(series)), the character (helltaker_(character) and helltaker), or both (mega_man_(character) and mega_man_(series)). However, these methods seem to be applied arbitrarily at the whim of whoever makes the tags (or the BUR to rename them).
I'd like to see the process standardized, with guidelines for when each approach should be used (if we even need more than one of them). I don't really have an individual preference for any of them, so I'd like some input from the community as to which method is best and why.
