Danbooru ex tag script tagging blacklisted posts?

I just got a message from veraducks informing me I've been tagging personifications with "pokemon_creature" and other such contradictory things. I've had "personification" blacklisted the entire time while applying a tag script with "pokemon_creature" for precisely that reason. Same other "contradictory" tags to whatever I was tagging at the time.

Looking post changes I can see I'm listed as having added that tag to posts with "personification" (Which was still on my blacklist at the time of checking)

I've been using the all/none and invert function of danbooru ex can that apply the tag script to blacklisted posts as well?

Edit: It does. did a simple test, searched "wolf" and after making sure everything on the page featured an actual wolf I blacklisted the copyright of the first image (ragnarok_online) and applied the "animal" tag with the tag script, and it still picked up the ragnarok online post:

Yes, it applies to all posts/thumbnails on the page, even if they are hidden. That's why you need to be careful when using the function.

Ah, well that explains so much. I've been using blacklist to filter out multiple tags while looking to avoid mistagging for something then doing a visual overview of the posts I COULD see before using the tag script.

Is there a way to make it not pickup blacklisted posts? or would I just need to get a rank where I can search more tags at once?

Either that, or you click each thumbnail manually.

Wait, is using that square selection dangerous or will it only target visible posts?

Well, I told you to use absurd thumbnails and tag posts individually with the script if you continued to use it. It's not efficient to clean up mistags afterwards at all.

I was confused about your wording when you said that, I thought you meant look into such posts to rank up tag edits.

Just to be clear, when you say individually now do you mean selecting posts individually like unbreakable said? Because if you're clicking edit on and opening up each separate post what is even the use of a tag script?

Pretty sure it's safe, and that's it's just the All/None and Invert function that checks for all the thumbnails on the page.

When you have Tag Script enabled, just clicking on a post's thumbnail will automatically make whatever changes you have it set to do. It doesn't open anything.

Yes, IIRC you use Danbooru EX's tag script by selecting posts. The current Gold+ tag script can also tag posts just by clicking on the thumbnails, so people have to be extra careful with the toggle on.

You should at least look at the thumbnails before selecting and tagging the posts instead of selecting everything, this goes for privileged users as well, there might be posts that weren't tagged with the tags that you removed from the search or the thing you want to tag might not be visible in the image. Some posts might have to be opened separately if you can't see what you're tagging in the image just by looking at the thumbnail.

It didn't cross my mind that the all/none function was tagging hidden posts from the searches to point that out to you though.

I did look at the thumbnails. I just tagged posts that I couldn't see without knowing.
