rename laser_pointer_(projection) -> laser_pointer_projection
Alternatively, can be an alias so it doesn't break scripts. The qualifier here is weird, should drop the brackets. Sure, it's kinda showing that it's the projection from the tag laser pointer. Unless anyone has a better idea for this tag that isn't just laser (laser beam).

Alternate. I wouldn't go with laser projection because that's a totally different concept. Note topic #25038.
One could argue that laser pointers can be strong enough to hurt like laser beams. And they all kind of suck to get in your eye. But the tag is clearly almost entirely for lasers that don't hurt to touch.
How about gun laser? I tried googling that and it showed me the same concept (I think?) Or is that too ambiguous.
I think it should at least be an alias to the tag so it's more easy to find. I just spent like 3 minutes trying to hop from wiki to wiki to find this damn thing and that's why I'm here.
