Should cropped torso posts be tagged with upper body as well or are they mutually exclusive? The wikis only mention about not using cropped torso on posts where the lower body is out of frame (upper body) and there are posts featuring both concepts (post #6160882, post #6497179, post #6796650, post #6981358).
Today I saw topic #17763, so I'd like to clear this out. I've the same question for the other cropped and out of frame bodyparts tags.
The two tags should be used without any regard for the other. A cropped torso has some empty space between the frame of the image and the torso and an upper body post simply needs the upper body to make up the whole visible composition of the depicted person in the image, whether it be surrounded by a white border, a window frame the edge of the illustration itself or some other type of object.
upper_body should simply be for when only a character's upper body is visible. It shouldn't matter how the rest of the body is hidden; being out of frame or cropped should both count.
