create alias short_puffy_sleeves -> puffy_short_sleeves
Hopefully self-explanatory. Can go the other way, but if you can also talk about the utility of the latter tag.

If you disable autocomplete then you should expect the site to be worse to use without it. We don't need aliases like this to cater to the very small minority of people who don't want to use it for whatever reason. See also forum #220520 and co. where aliases like this were deleted exactly for the reason of autocomplete taking care of them.
The thread name made me think this was about a whole other subject than just an alias, but yeah, shouldn't the tag /actually/ be called short_puffy_sleeves instead of puffy_short_sleeves?
Puffy short sounds.. wrong/unnatural somehow, like the adjectives are in the wrong order? Same with puffy_long_sleeves.
Autocomplete exists in part so that we don't have to make aliases for every alternate word order in a tag.
If you disabled autocomplete because it was too slow, try enabling it again. There was a recent change to caching that should make it faster for people outside the US.

English does have an order that adjectives are supposed to go in, and size adjectives like "short" normally do go before shape adjectives like "puffy".

create alias puffy_short_sleeves -> short_puffy_sleeves
create alias puffy_long_sleeves -> long_puffy_sleeves
Like this I guess, if it's a change worth making (potentially with an unalias afterwards?)
I'm not sure I could adequately explain why and I may even be wrong, but I feel like the tags aren't necessarily wrong as they are. In the context of our tags, the object being described isn't "sleeves" it's "short sleeves". So it's "puffy" short sleeves as opposed to just "regular" short sleeves. That's how my mind interprets them.

I get how you could see it that way. It's the other way around for me, I just see it as adjective_adjective_sleeves so it feels off. Ultimately it's a minor thing though, I was just reminded of it by the thread name,
