Child posts will always be in the order they were uploaded. The only ways to get around this are to make a pool as Bougaiteuil stated or make one of the posts a grandchild. However, I don't think it's worth making a pool for these and I'm not sure whether making grandchildren for this purpose is considered acceptable practice.

I believe the idea is that any time you ever need a specific ordering, a pool is fine, even if it's a bit silly like with 2 or 3 images.
