Should the riding tag be disambiguated?

The riding tag is normally used when someone is riding an animal or a small vehicle, like a bicycle or a motorcycle. However, the tag is misused by several users who think the tag also applies for cowgirl position and reverse cowgirl position.

I would propose something like tied up (nonsexual) by having the tag being renamed to riding (nonsexual), and the current tag would be deprecated to prevent another mistagging to ever happen again. If there is any objections, feel free to post any before I could propose the BUR.

I'm not fond of this line. It comes off as an attempt to minimize the risk of a rejected BUR and discourage downvotes by creating the impression that anyone who didn't speak out before the BUR was posted has already tacitly approved of your proposal. I think that if you think it's a good idea, then just post the BUR and be prepared to face the eternal disgrace if it ends up being rejected. BURs should be used to gauge opinion and stimulate discussion, not to rubber stamp what has de facto already been decided, IMO. I don't know whether other users see it the same way.

No need to be sorry. I was merely stating and briefly explaining the point of view that it's better to go straight for a BUR than to start a pre-BUR thread like this one. (While throwing some shade on the suspected mentality behind such threads, admittedly.) At least when the topic is as simple as a tag rename and deprecation.

I opened the tag and immediately got sex. That's obviously a problem.

However, forum #252702. A qualifier is unlikely to pass.

I just cleaned up riding sex. Before I did, there was about two pages of it (out of ~700 total pages of riding) where the tag was being incorrectly used for straddling sex.

The majority of those incorrect riding taggings were done by user @spfdo during the last few hours, after Fenton started this thread. Did someone else recently clean up the tag? In any case, please read the wiki and tag correctly from now on, spfdo.
