mass update pool:8845 -interactive_media -> interactive_media
nuke pool:8845
This definitely deserves to be a tag. It's quite a simple concept, but being a pool definitely hurts its visibility.

mass update sasaki_yukinojou -id:538184,166667,166665,166397 -> interactive_media
The description of the pool says adding Sasaki Yukinojou's works to it is "cheating" so their posts don't actually appear in the pool. If interactive media becomes a real tag then their works should get the appropriate treatment.
Regarding future wiki (I'll be sure to write one if this goes through) and tag scope, I think the tag should (remain) being used for what's basically "drawing within a different medium".
The current description seems to imply requiring some artist/art tools interaction, but that's not what it's being used for (even Sasaki Yukinojou isn't always that). The reason I rediscovered this pool in the first place was post #8704874 & children, and I'd argue it can apply too (potentially w/ screenshot background?).
I was also thinking of making posts in that pool a tag but specifically for posts like post #8127610, post #8376565 and post #8520881 where the interaction is prompted between the viewer and the art and not the artist and the art. I think these are unique enough of a concept to be tagged separately.
I agree with the principle of these concept(s) receiving a tag but the name might need some clarification, as when I hear interactive media I think flash game, or other art where the viewer can affect how the media changes. (Granted this might just be because I went to art school and took Interactive Media classes where I made very literal interactive art via the magic of coding.)
I think this is one of the cases where the chances of it getting mistagged are considerably low. If you take interactive media the other way as in "media that can be interacted with", Flash is no longer supported and the only other thing that could possibly be interacted with is videos but everyone inherently knows how to tag and handle those. I don't even see it being mistagged on a choose-your-own-adventure style set of posts - parenting/pooling will come more naturally.
If a new tag name is really desired, the idea I offer is "(artist) interacting with (media/medium)", that way the tag is more verbose about what it's referring to in that the artist themselves is interacting with the art piece. The "artist" part of that tag name proposal may not be necessary but it may prevent tagging the same kind of idea but between in-medium characters rather than a real person (basically anything that's ~doki_doki_literature_club ~miside through_screen or similar).

This needs a better name. "Interactive media" brings to mind videogames or "viewer interacting with the character", not "character interacting with real world" or "character interacting with the artist". "Character interacts with real world" (post #2698508) and "character interacts with artist" (post #8041121) are also two separate things.

Just remembered this again because it applies to the two videos I just uploaded but would it be worth it to have a specific subcategory for art that interacts with the viewer instead of with the artist? I feel like there's a decent amount of difference between something like post #9573844 and post #8924617 where the idea is that you are the one who's making the things happen instead of the artist.
