could 'badass' be an exception also? I don't think it's as subjective as the ones that are not exceptions

And badass would be a terrible tag regardless.

I always check the 'epic' tag for example

why would it be terrible?

Because its subjective, prone to highly different interpretations, and just in general does not fit with how we tag images.
