The tag is for The Captain’s distinctive C96s with ridiculously extended barrels, it’s not a duplicate tag they’re easily identifiable and a distinct modification of the gun in question

Sure, it has a very long barrel, but that's still a C96. Imagine if we tagged every single Blue Archive weapon with their in-game names only because they have different paint jobs or attachments.

You could argue that for any character weapon, Like if I search up say Medea_(Caster)_ (Fate) Staff I’d get art of her with her staff, even before I made the tag for it.

The difference is that search has 100+ posts and other characters can hold that staff (hecate's_staff_(fate) -medea_(fate)), so you can't search for it with a simple two-tag search. Your tag instead has no utility.
It's literally a completely regular, run-of-the-mill, factory-standard C96 with a longer barrel.

Fate, at least, adds a bunch of gubbins around their guns, but even then they're usually just tagged as the base weapon.

While none’s on the site yet I wouldn’t be shocked if some exists/will exist, as again, quite distinctive, IK other characters hold that staff lmao, I originally made the tag due to Phantasmoon lmao.
