transparent - simple backgrounds

Are transparent backgrounds simple?

If they are, an implication is needed.
transparent_background → simple_background

I personally consider them two different things, though I wouldn't really care if an implication is made.

Just from my view of it, I wouldn't label it simple because simple indicates that there is a background but it is easy to use photoshop or another program to easily extract the characters from it. A transparent background on the other hand is saying that there is no background and the characters can easily be put over different backgrounds.

A transparent_background doesn't lead to a simple_background automatically. See post #144866 and post #284421 for an example.

I agree as well. I will keep removing simple_background when it is the case then.
