where to pay for privileged account?

i can not find the place where to pay for it can some some help me or make a guide on where to go for me thanks!

Come to think about it, why isn't getting a priviledged account a bit easier than sending a mail?

Probably because it doesn't happen enough for it to be worth Albert's time to set up a better system.

Makes me wonder how many privileged users paid to get the status, as opposed to earning it.

probably why the "buldier" level was added. can now tell the difference between those who earned it and those who payed for it, atleast after a certain point.

I was under the impression that those who earned it get "Contributor"? Or was that a thing in the past, too?

Only those that earn an upgrade through posting get Contributor.

That's how it is now. Used to be how chiisana described it, but you can see how that might go south if someone were to take advantage.

There was never a point where you could get upgraded to contributor through donation but, functionally, priv used to be contributor.

So would that mean that back when priv was contributer, those who paid for their status lost some privileges?

i think it was that you could pay for it or earn it.

If it was made easier, I can see more people using it. I'm not sure how economic theory really works, but ease of use seems to be a good way to go.

I do know that I was interested, and wanted to send a mail, but forgot to do it because I couldn't be assed to copy/psate the email, and instead thought i'd do it later.

That was before the payment to upgrade was an option, IIRC.
