An upload question

Posted under General

I got a manga which author is Irua, a Korean artist. And a friend and I translated it into English and changed all dialogues in the picture (using photoshop).

I want to upload it but I can't find the original korean version manga. What I translated is based upon the Chinese translated version. So is it acceptable if I upload my own translated English version?

Here's some infos of this artist.
Artist: irua

Other Names 이루아

Thanks.

Secondhand translation is really hard press, not necessarily because they're bad, but because of potential meaning inaccuracy. You can try posting the Chinese version and do translation notes here.

But before that, do you mind giving more information about the doujin? Name? Link? Translation group? People here can try to find the original version for you.

Btw you don't have to paste the artist's information here if they're already in danbooru's system. Just put artist's name tag between double [] to make a link. Like this: irua.

Thank you very much for the answer.

Due to unable to find the doujin's original version. So I can only type its Chinese title, its "期望", means "desire, hope, expectation" and so on. The story of this touhou doujin is about Eirin and Kaguya.

The Chinese version link: http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kz=929881327

And about this translation group, well actually I'm a member itself, and I've asked the publisher about the original version doujin, and she said she lost it as well...

If nothing serious happens, could I upload the Chinese version and do a translation job via notes?

Thanks.

I'd definitely approve uploading and soft-translating the Chinese version. The original Korean would have been preferable, had it been available.

Normally, one should be wary about uploading doujin in their entirety, but the art here seems solid enough to stand on its own.
