Uploading WIPs / how to's

Stems from forum #59492 but the matter is slightly different.

We don't delete WIPs but what about uploading?

Every so often I read a few approvers saying it's valuable and all, yet nowadays hardly anything of that kind is being posted anymore.
pool #322 (learning how to draw) is also mostly old / very old posts.
Seeing this you'd think they've gotten off-topic over time.

Naturally I'd refrain from posting such material to avoid being welcomed by a bunch of deletions.
I suspect this feeling has grown on other uploaders, including contribs (janitors?).

So are there people who actually care about these other than 葉月 and スラッシュ?

I'd approve most of what is in that pool. Sketches are also always good and can stand alone or alongside finished works.

They seem to be slightly rare, but they are certainly relevant. Also, I have changed my habits when it comes to pooling this kind of stuff (I do this now: pool #2825), so that's why that particular pool has become obsolete.

I too appreciate roughs and uncoloured versions of finished artwork.
