Agreed. Perhaps a mass edit would be more suitable for this purpose, along with a wiki entry stating that the tag should only be used for the art material.
I always thought glint was specific, I generally thought of it as the sparkle of a polished object, generally a sword, so maybe a clean-up + implication is appropriate.
I understand sparkle as in post #873653 and glitter as in post #868412. Local vs global.
Never seen the glint tag until now.
EB's definition makes sense, though I think the local/global distinction in sparkle is useful enough to keep 2 tags after glitter is moved. Like sparkle and sparkle_abuse.
Then how about keeping sparkle for anything related to comic and emphasis purposes, and glint only for natural phenomena?
