Artist appearances

This image wasn't drawn by Nomura but instead has him appearing as a character. Furthermore I reckon if someone is browsing the Nomura artist tags, that's the last thing they want to see.

What's the policy when it comes to things like this--a nomura_tetsuya_(character) tag perhaps?

I'd opt for nomura_tetsuya_(person), since "character" would imply to me that he's fictional. Not sure there's any precedent though.

On a vaguely related note, is there a suitable tag qualifier for images that are clearly mimicking a certain game or artist's style?
I'm thinking of the all the SWR cut-in parodies ideolo, auer and probably others have been drawing recently, as well as things like post #261734.

OTOH, if you search for nomura_tetsuya you'll probably want to find that post.

Yeah, I agree, so maybe there should be some kind of "did you mean his art, or anything to do with him" thing.

Maybe I'm getting lax in my old age, but I'd think visual depictions of real artists are rare enough that it's fine like it is. No special action needed, just use the artist tag.

How ever, I do think the "_(person)" is fine, because even if I'm against unnecessary qualifiers, this is uncommon enough that it shouldn't be an issue. I mean, it's like this pic, some Zun stuff... and...? Maybe some self-insertion comics?

Yeah, I suppose it doesn't happen a lot. This and those images I uploaded before where the two artists seemed to have drawn each other made me wonder about it though.
