"Access Denied" when logging in?

Hi Folks,
I attempted to log in today and was given the Subject message, but am not sure why that may be the case.

Wondering if I somehow forgot the password, I attempted a password reset and was told that the account was not valid.

Going one step further, I tried to re-register with the same email address and was informed that the address was taken.

So, I'm wondering how I should go about re-enabling this account, please. I haven't posted content yet, so can't imagine that I was denied access for posting something against the posting guidelines or similar.

And, obviously this is weird, because that post was just made under my ID ... the one I was told was denied access during login.

Is this a known login bug?

If you try to access a page that is limited to certain users such as mods/admins, you are prompted for your login information. Of course, since you are not an administrator, access will be denied.
For example, click on the "Edit" link of this response.

Thanks S1eth, I just figured it out: I was attempting to login with my email address instead of my ID itself, because my password manager here had the wrong value saved.

Duh on my part.
