Forum Suggestion: Tag Request

We already have quite a few *_request tags which can be useful if you don't know/can't find the tag for said item.
There is already tagme, but that somewhat covers everything, and in some cases only one or two items that you cannot find the tag for.
Quick example would be post #1145071 , the items these two characters are holding. Both items aren't really searchable on danbooru or google.
It seems a bit stupid to affix the tagme tag to this since it's only a few items.
It isn't so bad for items copyrighted characters are holding since usually you can just find it by looking through the character tag.

Main suggestion is, would it be worth creating a thread for requesting tags of objects? (Somewhat similar to what we have for http://danbooru.donmai.us/forum/show/37461 )
This could hopefully get rid of a lot of images in tagme that have been tagged due to not knowing names of a few items.

I'm not entirely sure which thread it was in, but this idea has been floated previously with the end decision being that for general ad-hoc tag requests creating independent forum threads is the best idea. Otherwise things tend to get lost within mammoth threads and become hard to find later.

Long discussions also tend to become difficult in shared threads as multiple sets of tags/objects may be being discussed at the same time.

I can understand why there is multiple tag threads, but asking the tag for a specific item/pose/whatever shouldn't really require a new thread, unless of course the tag didn't exist in the first place. If the tag requested needs a another thread, it could then be split off into a seperate thread.

Of course, if your question is "items these two characters are holding", nobody will be able to find your thread ever again. I suggest describing the items in addition to linking to examples.

I knew I should of looked that up before using as an example xD.
The other item isn't really describable though. It's a stick/pole like thing with what looks like strips of paper at each end, not exactly searchable.

As things are right now creating individual threads seems to be a better solution (this way it gets more attention from experienced taggers who view the forum), and it also appears to be the standard practice for people who want a new tag to be populated (forum #73975).
