source:none

If it's called for (by jxh2154), it would be easy (if a bit slow) for me to do a massive tag edit setting the source of all sourceless posts to "none", so that "source:none" would appear to work like parent:none does. Given the ~115k bad id edits I've already made, I suppose this wouldn't be that much of a stretch for me, lol. It'd be a lot faster and easier to maintain, too. I'll ask Albert if he can add this feature the smart way, though.

For the time being, I've added this to my tag history scanner, so "none" will just be added to posts as they are edited by other users.

It's possible to search for the null-character, although it might get mangled when you change the search terms (if so, edit that part of the url to %00 again):

http://danbooru.donmai.us/post?tags=source:%00

This won't catch the ones with filler text (dunno, n/a, Image board). A feature like -source:http* would be nice.

Ah. Hmmm. Annoying to work with since you have to keep revising the URL, but interesting. I'll put sauce:none on hold for now.

Negating the source metatag would be much more useful.

Would also be nice to be able to use the OR search with the source metatag too. So something like ~source:� ~source:Imageboard.

We might as well wish for world peace while we're at it. :p

For the record, Albert actually implemented source:none, so the annoying %00 work around isn't necessary anymore.
