There's also the posibility that the problem is on Pixiv's end, since it seems it's happened before: forum #47888.
Again, you'd probably just want to wait it out.

It's extremely un-encouraged to do so. That's how I used to upload things (since I didn't realize things could be directly pulled from Pixiv) until I got an irritated mail to knock it off.

I think editing the source to point to the correct Pixiv image immediately after uploading should satisfy any problems anyone has with that practice. Of course, that's not the simplest thing in the world to do, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't know exactly what I mean by 'editing the source to point to the correct Pixiv image'.
