Bdsm Bondage Tied Bound Bound_Wrists...

I'm a little confused over how some of these tags differ. bondage bound and tied seem extremely similar and bound_wrists is relatively unused.
Any thoughts?

bdsm and bondage imply each other, so every image that has the one also has the other. Bound also seems like a superfluous tag considering the other two. Bound_wrists would be a specific kind of bondage, similar to shibari. Not every bondage image is bound_wrists, but every bound_wrist image is bondage.

Should bdsm and bondage be equivalent? I forget what the difference is.

And I believe there's a tag group listing on the wiki enumerating all the bondage subtypes.

I don't mind bondage, but I don't like bdsm.

bondage is bdsm, but not always the other way around. Bondage is just the tying down/restricting of someone for sexual pleasure, while bdsm includes that (even literally, the B means bondage), but also encompasses other acts of domination/submission.

Having said that, it's used interchangeably on danbooru as far as I can tell.

Although I wouldn't call what is depicted by hentai BDSM or regular Bondage. I would say the rape tag is included over 90% of the time.
