Does anyone have any reasonable instructions to accomplish this? The readme says it's been installed on CentOS before. It would be extremely helpful. I have basic Linux proficiency, but I should be able to follow along and do whatever if someone could explain a bit.

Thank god for a response!
Bit confused. I'm trying to deploy danbooru on a web server (my VPS). What exactly is the purpose of the VM image? To my understanding it wouldn't be a good idea to point apache/nginx to a VM right? Or is there a way to extract it or something?
Oh another question: is nginx a requirement or can I use apache? If the former then is nginx running as a reverse proxy okay? (I was talking to my host about installing nginx on my server and they told me "The cPanel server will not support Nginx as the default web server. When Nginx is installed in the server as reverse proxy, all the connections coming to port 80 will be first received by Nginx and then, they will be redirected to Apache. So, Apache will see the connections as coming from the server itself. All the static files will be handled by Nginx and all the dynamic contents will be handled by the Apache service.")
And lastly just some brief instructions would be helpful. I'm at a point where I'll gladly take any direction I can get no matter how small.
I was irritated by a lot of the incompleteness of myimouto, and I don't want to support gelbooru at all.
I have absolute full shell access, but the server also uses Cpanel too. If you (or someone else reading this) could help me somewhere private I'd be willing to paypal you a small amount of money. My site is live (the other sections of it) so I have a bit of a time issue here. I'm trying to get this running within a few days, and within a week at the max.
