hair_manifolds

Is there already a tag for the hair style that creates twin forward-facing scoops? Like Kyou from Clannad. Damned if I can find it if there is.

Are you referring to the things Kyou is pointing at in post #576596? If so, no idea.

Yeah those. I've also seen them referred to as M-Peaks, but I motion we use hair_manifolds even though hair_scoops might be more intuitive.

hair_intakes sounds like the more fun tag to use, though I can't recall having seen the style on anyone other than the Fujibayashi twins.

minase_akiko usually sports them. "Hair intakes" is perfect.

hair_arches?

manifolds/scoops/intakes sounds awfully automotive/mechanical, which seems a little weird in relation to hair.

But playing off of "air intakes" is why it's fun.

You see them on real people, but I don't think it has a name.

Dunno, I found that a bit too corny for my tastes. *shrug*

I was googling for things to see what would make sense, and I think "M-peaks" and "arches" works best. The only thing with M-peak, is people associate it with hairlines at the front of the forehead. Like Kallen_Stadtfeld rating:s post #439805 for example.

I'm going with hair_intakes for now unless someone feels the need to alias it to hair_arches or hair_manifolds instead.

Any idea what to tag the "single" version of this hair feature? e.g.:
reinforce
inui_sana
konoe_akari

Don't think I've seen a tag for it and I've been uncertain on tagging them hair_intakes too.

Well, would single_hair_intake be a good name for the tag? I've made sure to keep track of any relevant images I've come across, so I can populate the tag a little beyond the characters listed above.

Considering that we have other single_* versions of tags, I would say so.
