Head v. breast size tags -- one or both breasts?

Posted under General

For purposes of the large breasts, huge breasts, and gigantic breasts tags, we compare a woman's breasts to her head.

  • Large: "If the breasts are of roughly similar volume in comparison to their owner's head, this is the tag to use."
  • Huge: "The preferred rule of thumb is that breasts which are larger than the character's head, but less than twice the volume of the head, should be given this tag."
  • Gigantic: "Breasts of a tremendous volume, at least twice as big as the girl's head."

I've noticed some inconsistency in the way these tags are used, and I was wondering, are you supposed to compare each breast or both breasts combined to the girl's head? It makes a huge difference in where the thresholds break.

Whichever way this goes down, I propose updating the Wiki pages to make this ambiguity clear.

It seemed fairly obvious that you should use a single breast to measure. If you used two, then pretty much everything is skewed to huge_breasts.

I wouldn't say that it's obvious; I thought it referred to both breasts. The reason is that the wikis all use the word "breasts" (plural) in comparison to the head.

I'll change them to say one breast.

Yeah, this is pretty much how I've been using the tags, but I've started to doubt myself after switching many "huges" to "larges" recently, where the "huge" would apply if both were counted together, and I figure that at least some posters are confused by the ambiguity.
