You know, I love this guy's style; how thick and curvacious he makes the girls look, and how slightly cartoon-y(?) his particular drawing style is, but I have to ask...

Why does he draw them all with two different types of pupils? Either style would look good on them, but it seems like he can't make up his mind or something? I know how this comment sounds, I'm not complaining, so much, as I'm really curious and have been really curious about it for awhile now.

It mostly seems to be done when the characters are in some sort of disorder. You'll note that when they're in a calm state, their eyes match; compare that to Meiling here, who's flustered, and Sakuya, who's angry.

No, no, I didn't mean different types as in to show an expression of surprise or anything. I mean, in general; all of his works have this type of drawing.

It's rather easy to miss at first glance, but as you look at more of his drawings, you'll notice that one is one solid color while the other resembles an actual pupil.

I mean, not raising a fuss cause I like how either style of drawing the eyes work with his overall style of the character. I just wonder why he never draws both eyes the same way... at least. I haven't seen any of his work where he's done this.

Yeah, in all his work where a character has fully-drawn eyes (that is, not the 'kids') the eyes are mismatched. There doesn't really seem to be an explanation. I find it really distracting, personally.

I never expected to hear it coming from the mouth of someone who always skipped work
    So overly great that...
You look very elegant and beautiful again today... last couple of lines are flustered gobbledygook
A... Ai ya... Miss Sakuya, this is, um...
