    Seeing how Kogasa's family works, her "true form" probably means that her humanoid body dissolves and the umbrella becomes animated, hosting her soul.

    probably true form means he talk and moving using the umbrella (while the humanoid body remains still). Also the overall blue and one red eye in her humanoid form is to represent one-eyed karakasa :D
