    Hang in There Kogasa-san 387

It was so painful, worse than the pain I had with ureteral stones.
I was a grown man screaming and crying in bed.
I went as far as to decide whether to call an ambulance or not, but when I called the hospital, they said "Even if we come we can only give more medicine, so take the medicine your doctor gave you and hang in there!"
So that's how it went (lol)

Eirin looks way too pale in that first panel there... Like he drew her normally then raised up the brightness on her.

On an unrelated note, my brother got a 40.2C fever during the SARS period, man my family and I were scared as hell :/.

    It's probably because she's a flashback moment.
Also, Kogasauthor's face in the last panel seems more like he's in heat rather than under the weather.

He's just happy to know she's not an idiot :D

Eirin looks pale since the previous strip. Probably in line with the hikikomori doctor theory

Hey, this kind of cold is what I often feel... not too feverish that I can no longer stand, often have sniffles and cough, and sometimes having joint pains.

Mizuki-san says it hurt him more than the time he had ureteral stones, and he made a fine sight as a grown man crying and wailing in bed.

They were even wondering whether to call an ambulance, but when they contacted the emergency hospital, they were told, "Even if you came here, all we could do is provide you medicine, so just take what your family doctor gave you and hang in there!"

Sounds like some variant of the flu.

Kidney stones related pain is horrible enough to make grown men cry. Mizuki-san is completely excused in this case.

My mom said she'd rather have another baby than another kidney stone.

Funny, that's exactly what my mother said the pain from kidney stones was most relate-able to as well.

People from the north and east of my home country have lots of problems related to "dengue fever", which have symptoms like the ones described in this strip (joint pains, high fever and sometimes hallucinations).

I do have 2nd hand experience with it. It normally starts with very bad stomachache while being bombarded with the body pains and feverish pitch. If it last way too long (3-5 days), best to check your blood to see if you do got it.

He is from Argentina for sure.

Anyways... personally i suffered 41º fever... its painful but you just sleep 20hs a day or something.
And a fever of 37º doesnt even exist... you go trough 37º pretty often... 37.5 to 38 is when it starts to get annoying.

Though personally, from all the pains i have suffered in my life... teeth cavity was the worst.
Not just a cavity, a huge infection on a Molar... Deep rooted it had to be extracted in the end. There seems there was some infection remains or something but that gave me so much pain that for 2 days i couldnt sleep.
First time i feel asleep in 2 days i woke up a few hours later screaming in pain and without even thinking i started to run kinda in panic.

Biggest pains in your life usually come from inside, but not bleeding. The things that make zones go numb dont hurt as much, but something breaks without making the zone go numb... oh god.
Bursting an eardrum must be pretty close.

M-...my joints are hurting like crazy as well, though!
    ...That's what she said, but...
    It hurts! It hurts! Owowow!
You won't get much of a fever from the cold you have now, but the coughing will go on for some time.
Even if you get a fever, it will only be around 37°C.
For about one to two months.
    You'll get a runny nose.
    103.8 °F
They say that idiots don't catch colds.
Well, it's probably a different disease...
But this proves that I'm not an idiot!
Hello, is this the hospital? My husband has a fever and is talking deliri-...yes...
    Hyuuf Hyuff
Meanwhile, the symptoms I got are just like what doctor said...
