Today Is Christmas... There is no one at the temple... But the Myouren temple is still operating as usual... The others might have had something to do, so they applied for leave in advance... Of course, I've been all alone since yesterday... all alone....
I'm still wondering how Christmas would work out in Gensokyo. I know that, during the Sengoku Civil War, there was some catholic missionaries, but since the country was closed after the war, I don't really see how that religion coulda grew. And even if Japan is catholic (emphasis on the "if", because I have no idea, and frankly, I doubt it), I don't see how that religion could pass through the Border.

Sometimes some people will cross the border to Gensokyo. Most of them are captured by youkai, but others make it to the human village, so some "traditions" (things from after the closing of the barrier) are able to reach Gensokyo. Also Sanae.
Christians retreated underground and survived for hundreds of years after their religion was banned in Japan. It was never eliminated. And besides being infested with youkai, wouldn't an isolated fantasy land like Gensokyo even before the sealing seem like the kind of place they could hide out in?
You know I've been wondering about this pic, for a while now... is it backwards to show her speaking the words in that way, showing her falling into a demonic mindset a.k.a. becoming yandere?
I can imagine the giving/cheerfulness of Christmas being carried over as it's fun for everyone, but not so much the religious aspects.
