Even if she got curb stomped, she fought relentlessly against Pain. Not entirely fierce, but she gotta start somewhere.

I seriously like and enjoy watching her character growth and development.

Better character than Sakura will ever be >.>

I don't think any character in Naruto will ever develop. The main character is the same as he was in the start, maybe stronger but an attack or two won't cut it.

Well some of them have changed considerably, compared to how they were in the past, even if it doesn't clearly shows, their attitudes haven't changed much, but kishimoto isn't really good with character development.
