Is the "Expressions and Speeches after Declaration of Love" pool closed? I can't find it in the options but it's still a pool.

Also, the face only appeared in the manual, as the ingame sprites were sufficiently without detail that they could just as easily be Vladimir Putin in a wig as the drawing in question. NOBODY thinks of the manual drawings when they think of NES characters.

Uh, they are different people, the Zeldas are blood-retaled (descendants) while the Links are ''spiritual reincarnation'' or some baloney like that.

That would imply that the different Links had the same soul, which is not the case since TP Link encountered a predecessor that personally trained him.

I know people are just starting to realize how much influence Miyazaki seems to be on the Zelda series, but I think this image is good evidence that it always has been. Both the NES Zeldas have a very strong resemblance to that 'Miyazaki' type of fantasy from the 80s. And Miyamoto and Aonuma both said Miyazaki movies were a major influence on Wind Waker, along with things like traditional Japanese art.

And I wish they'd do a similar image for all the 'brunettes' in Zelda. Marion/Malon/Cremia/Medli/Orielle/Kina

I didn't mean it that way, ''spiritual'' as in ''the role of the hero belongs to a similar-looking youngster clad in green robes''.

the "happy Face" and "no reaction" seem...fitting, given their respective Zelda's.

I find it funny how most of the time Link hardly even knows Zelda, yet everybody looks at them as one of gaming's most famous couples. Sure Wind Waker was an exception to this but a very rare one.

There's also Skyward Sword where they're childhood friends.

Also, someone decided to translate this their "own way"; taking such liberties as turning the "I like you" persona chart into "how she would tell you she is pregnant" chart. It's on a youtube video entitled "funny Zelda pictures" I believe. So rageworthy imo.

And I like Toon Zelda's reaction. OH jeez so typical ikr ikr.
or should I say... I like Tetra's reaction the most. Just blew my own mind with that.
