    From the thumbnail, it looks like his glasses have three eyepieces. Is it (eyepieces) also called that, or is that a term restricted to microscopes and telescopes?

    In my experience, "eyepieces" isn't used very often. "Lenses" is much more common for glasses; "objective" is the professional term for microscope and telescope eyepieces/lenses/the-bit-you-look-through.

    Gotta love English's tendency to have 70 words to mean the same thing.
