Reminds of a few of the game CGs where it looks like Saber is holding a gundam-grade laser beam or something. It really expresses the power she's supposed to be holding in her hand, as opposed to a simple - if ornamental - sword and everything else about the supernatural feats she's capable of is just something the observer has to fill in from the show or novel.
Just a thought, anyway - it's different from what you normally see.
